Greg Hocking lives with his wife and three daughters in Perth, Western Australia and photographs in Australia as well as overseas locations. Greg is a Master of Photography and Fellow of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography, and was awarded the AIPP Australian Landscape Photographer of the Year in 1997 and 1999 as well as the WA Landscape photographer of the Year for 1996 and 1998. In recognition of his Fine Art Photography Greg has won the Western Australian Professional Photography Curators Award on three occasions 2002, 2003 and 2004.

In 2005 Greg was recognized by Hasselblad Sweden as the first-ever Australian to be honoured as an International Hasselblad Master. Outside of his landscape work, Greg runs a commercial photography business servicing Architects and Corporations. Greg has been involved in photography tours to overseas and Australian locations as well having lectured in photography at both TAFE and University.
